Preliminary Totals and Certified Values

Preliminary Totals and Certified Values

The Wood County Appraisal District is committed to providing accurate, transparent, and timely appraisal information to the taxing entities and property owners we serve. This page contains the Preliminary Totals and Certified Totals for each tax year.

Preliminary Totals represent the estimated taxable values of property within each taxing jurisdiction before the appraisal roll is finalized. These values are provided to assist taxing units with budget planning and the development of proposed tax rates. Because appraisal protests and other adjustments may still be pending, preliminary totals are subject to change.

Certified Totals reflect the official taxable values after the appraisal records have been finalized and certified in accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code. These totals are used by taxing entities to calculate and adopt property tax rates for the current tax year.

The Wood County Appraisal District strives to ensure that all appraisal information is prepared with accuracy and fairness while meeting all statutory deadlines. We invite property owners, taxing units, and members of the public to review these reports as part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and public service.

If you have questions regarding the Preliminary or Certified Totals, please contact the Wood County Appraisal District for additional information or assistance.
